Moon older than expected Empty Moon older than expected

And yet again a new discovery http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/the-moon-is-older-than-scientists-thought-ucla-led-research-team-reports
They found new proof that the Moon existed 4.5 billion years ago, 200 million earlier than expected and as usual no theory has been discarded.

How charming.

So the events they theorised to have happened in a 260 million years old Solar System, moved back to a 60 million years old Solar System.

This is an October 2015 article: http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/life-on-earth-likely-started-at-least-4-1-billion-years-ago-much-earlier-than-scientists-had-thought
Life on Earth can be dated as back as 4.1 billion years ago, 300 millions earlier than expected. What are 300 millions years!

Also for a laugh, this is their theory of the Moon formation: http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/moon-was-produced-by-a-head-on-collision-between-earth-and-a-forming-planet

Cheers

I also found this article about the discovery that confirms some unspecified theory that stars produce dust: http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/ucla-astronomers-watch-star-clusters-spewing-out-dust
It looks like someone conveniently forgot gravity in this occasion...
