New laser experiment spins light like a merry-go-round

I consider the news that there’s plenty of research going into the study of a second photon spin direction – 90 degrees from the forward direction to be extremely significant - direct evidence for the charge field. But of course, Miles notes, the mainstream won’t see it that way.

Making some commentary for discussion's sake.

The article begins -
In day-to-day life, light seems intangible. We walk through it and create and extinguish it with the flip of a switch. But, like matter, light actually carries a little punch—it has momentum. Light constantly nudges things and can even be used to push spacecraft. Light can also spin objects if it carries orbital angular momentum (OAM)—the property associated with a rotating object's tendency to keep spinning. … ..
Scientists have known that light can have OAM since the early 90s, … .
The article ends with -

Airman. So photons have mass and spin; contradicting over a hundred years of mainstream theory, something that Miles has been saying for almost twenty. They do their contradicting very carefully, on a merry-go-round, burying spin and mass inside "orbital angular momentum".

Spatiotemporal Torquing of Light begins -
“We demonstrate the controlled spatiotemporal transfer of transverse orbital angular momentum (OAM) to electromagnetic waves: the spatiotemporal torquing of light”.

Airman. On a first read, its like a foreign language. The math is incredibly dense, and the text is full of techno-jargon, no-doubt intended to be as indecipherable to the unspecialized and uninitiated as possible. I was surprised to find I was able to enjoy much of it due to my familiarity with the charge field.
